The mix of colors in this bed gets a little better each year.
The party's over for this semp.
The fleet sets sail tomorrow (client is coming to pick them up).
Ninety-five predicted for Monday? Really? That's just rude.

Hell Strip Eryngium
As my neighbor said, "you walk by your yard and you can tell something's up".
This plant was probably the best $3 I ever spent at a plant sale. Tagged as eryngium alpinum, it self-seeds politely and is tough as nails.
How many plants would grow at the corner of the driveway and the curb in full sun?

Chelsea show
Garden designer, photographer, fellow plant geek, and neighbor Barbara Bour graciously asked me to cast a couple planters for her show of garden photos at her hair stylist's space in Chelsea. Barbara even picked awesome material for the planters.
The show is up through Friday 6/21:

A Small Thing
In the midst of a horrible week, I noticed this in one of the troughs...one of the tiny sedums bravely blooming away.
