Many of my little friends have bulked up this season. While not flashy out of bloom, I love the variety of form in the alpines. Above is arenaria 'Wallowa Mts.'
a baby saponaria pumilio
saxifraga 'Pluto'
draba siberica
acantholimon capitum
haberlea rhodopensis
saxifraga longifolia
erigeron scopulinus
erigeron linarifolia
draba lasiocarpa
Sleep well this winter, little guys.
i really admire your interest in and attention to the little guys. I always love how your troughs look (all year long) and wish i had them, but so far have not taken five minutes to honestly think about small plants. It's such an interesting niche. Keep up the good/pretty work!!
