I love it when the plants touch across the garage path.
It's been a great August: sunny, not too hot, ample moisture.
Without the distraction of lots of things blooming, I take quiet pleasure in the shapes of the plants and troughs.
The front "trough" is actually a concrete post footing that I dug up on our property after the post rotted out. I get so many compliments on that one.
